Our software products, including EasyTrack, EasyDrive, and Efficio, process vehicle data and support customers with fleet management, trip logging, and data-driven workflows, among other things.

As a senior software developer, you’ll take on a technical leadership and strategic role within our development team. You’ll analyze complex technical and functional challenges and translate them into structured, scalable, and future-proof solutions.

In doing so, you’ll look beyond a single change or application. You’ll oversee the interconnections between applications, databases, APIs, mobile apps, cloud environments, and external systems. Together with the team, you’ll ensure the architecture, technical quality, and continuity of our solutions.

What will you do as a senior software developer?

• Design, develop, and improve complex software solutions for EasyTrack, EasyDrive, Efficio, and other platforms.
• Analyzing complex functional and technical issues and translating them into structural solutions.
• Guide technical designs and architectural decisions.
• Ensuring consistency between applications, databases, interfaces, mobile apps, cloud environments, and external systems.
• Developing and maintaining backend services, APIs, and integrations in .NET and C#.
• Contribute ideas on web functionalities and user interfaces developed with TypeScript.
• Design and optimize data models, SQL queries, and data processing.
• Ensuring scalability, performance, security, availability, and maintainability.
• Identifying technical risks and technical debt and proactively proposing improvements.
• Evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and platforms for applicability and added value.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to development standards.
• Providing support for complex incidents requiring in-depth technical analysis.
• Mentoring mid-level and junior developers and interns.
• Actively sharing technical knowledge and fostering collaboration within the team.
• Contributing to architectural principles, development standards, and the further professionalization of the development process.

Depending on the solution, you’ll also work with Microsoft Azure, AWS, NoSQL databases, mobile applications, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging, and event-driven architectures.

Your Responsibilities

As a senior software developer, you share responsibility for the technical direction and future-proofing of our software environment. You not only ensure the quality of your own work but also help the entire team develop maintainable, secure, and reliable software.

You provide clarity on technical trade-offs and identify consequences, dependencies, and risks in a timely manner. In doing so, you strike the right balance between new features, technical improvements, available capacity, and continuity.

You work closely with developers, product management, support, and operations. You are able to clearly explain technical decisions and complex issues to both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Who are we looking for?

You recognize yourself in the following profile:

• You have a college or university level of education and thinking, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You have extensive experience as a software developer in a professional development environment.
• You have in-depth knowledge of C# and .NET.
• You have experience with TypeScript and modern web development.
• You have extensive knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data models, and data processing.
• You have extensive experience with API development, system integrations, and distributed software solutions.
• You have experience with cloud applications, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
• You are familiar with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern development methods.
• You can independently analyze and systematically solve complex technical problems.
• You have experience with technical design and architectural decisions.
• You can assess the impact of changes on various applications, systems, and users.
• You have a proven focus on scalability, security, performance, availability, and maintainability.
• You identify technical risks and technical debt and translate them into concrete improvement proposals.
• You can critically evaluate new technologies for their applicability and added value.
• You enjoy mentoring developers and actively sharing your knowledge.
• You can clearly explain technical decisions to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• You have a strong command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.

Experience with AWS, NoSQL, mobile app development, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging, or event-driven architectures is a plus. An affinity for telematics, fleet management, vehicle data, or data-driven applications is also a plus.
